My experience with the coronavirus was a challenge just like so many other people. I lost relatives, and due to the lockdown and uncertainty’s in my home state of New Jersey, my family relocated to Utah my senior year of high school. The experience of Covid-19 when it first started in NJ was pure fear. People would grocery shop and that’s about it. Even outdoor parks and basketball courts were roped off, so there was really nothing to do those first few months. When I moved in July of 2020, the environment was completely different, masks were still required everywhere, but school was going to happen in person and it seemed more people were getting out, but there was still fear throughout the community. The whole country was fed this concept by media outlets to be afraid of the virus. My main concern is that hospitals were not treating patients with everything they could to help them. Early in the video, a doctor explains how cheap, safe, and effective drugs were ignored for the treatment of Covid-19, it could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. It makes me think that maybe more could have been done to save my aunt who passed away last year. The opinions and experiences of these medical professionals is much appreciated. I’m terrified by the lack of available and individual care of which people around the world have been deprived. The current backfilling and cover up of crimes makes me feel angry and the video was very eye opening.
